Caring for Pediatric Patients from Infancy to Adolescence
The Pediatrics clerkship emphasizes growth, development, and preventive care in pediatric patients, spanning outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings. Students will develop expertise in conducting age-appropriate exams, communicating with children and families, and managing both acute and chronic pediatric conditions, with a focus on recognizing the social determinants of health.

This 6-week rotation offers practical experience in pediatric healthcare, focusing on a wide array of common pediatric illnesses and developmental milestones.
