Diagnosis and Management of Adult Medical Conditions

The Internal Medicine clerkship introduces students to diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of adult diseases. With a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered care, students will gain experience in both hospital and outpatient settings, developing skills in interpreting diagnostic tests and creating treatment plans for medical cases.

Curriculum

Developing Clinical Reasoning
and Decision-Making Skills

This 12-week rotation provides comprehensive exposure to adult medicine, teaching students how to handle a variety of acute and chronic conditions. Students will learn to collaborate in interdisciplinary teams and enhance their clinical decision-making skills, providing them with a foundation for a diverse range of medical careers.
