Comprehensive Care Across Lifespan

The Family Medicine clerkship immerses students in the fundamentals of patient-centered care across a wide range of health issues. Students will develop practical skills in managing both common and complex conditions, while emphasizing cultural competence and communication with patients and families.

Curriculum

Foundations in Preventive
and Patient-Centered Care

This 6-week rotation provides hands-on experience in outpatient and hospital settings. Students will learn the core aspects of preventive care, chronic disease management, and effective communication in a primary care environment. By the end of this experience, students will have developed critical skills in managing patient populations and preparing for a career in family medicine.
