Specializing in Women's Health and Reproductive Care

The OB/GYN clerkship focuses on women’s health through a variety of experiences, including prenatal care, labor and delivery, gynecologic surgery, and reproductive health. Students will gain proficiency in pelvic exams, patient counseling, and managing common obstetric and gynecologic conditions, all while focusing on ethical decision-making and addressing health disparities in women’s healthcare.

Curriculum

Skill Development in Obstetric and Gynecologic Practice

This 6-week rotation offers exposure to key aspects of women's health, from gynecologic surgery to preventive care. Students will develop the clinical skills required for managing a range of women’s health issues and gain insight into the ethical considerations affecting women's healthcare access and outcomes, preparing them for roles in OB/GYN or related fields.
