The Greater Miami Health Education and Training Center (GMHETC) is a medical education company located in the
Center for Haitian Studies, Health & Human Services facility. GMHETC provides medical education and clinical
training to medical students, residents and fellows from local, national and international universities. In addition,
GMHETC develops culturally competent educational materials for Creole, French, English and Spanish-speaking
patients; and c) broadcast health care information both in Haiti and in Miami.
The GMHETC program uses a number of affiliated sites to provide training for medical students, residents, fellows
and visiting physicians.
